Does charity ever begins at home?

Has it ever happened to you guys, that you are pissed at someone, but someone else gets super mad at you for feeling that way? I fail to understand why people have to meddle so much in the private lives of other people? Why does gender supremacy matter so much to some people? yet they advocate fairness and equality most of the time. People come here talking about respect and they forget the basic rule that respect is never demanded or commanded but always earned. Is a civilized person supposed to meddle in between the private matters of others and then get angry because they were not given the "respect" they deserved?

And then what should be done with them?  who should be the bigger person?

If only I knew then

History is my favourite subject. While most of my friends would dread learning the chronologies or dates and try to keep their eyes open in history lectures, I would always be wide awake, curious and super active. We have all grown up listening to our elders that we should listen to them so that we don't commit the same mistakes as they had and learn from their experience. And this has been the conflict which is popularly known as - "Generation Gap".
We call kids who always question the authority and rules as rebels and never appreciate them.
We all have been through tough times, times which we never wanna recall, others which always bring regret. But don't we always make a well-intended decision. Hindsight is 20-20. But we always make the best choices with whatever information we have at that point. Then, is there any point lamenting over the past? Why do we neat ourselves daily about it? People change, circumstances change and even if we face the exact same situation again, it's completely different because the people involved have changed.
Life!

The perfect ice cube

Have you ever felt really thirsty and the only thing you had was a big bottle of freshly boiled water and an ice tray? You pour some water in a bottle and you are trying to put some ice in it. And every time you shake the tray to pick up an ice cube, you shake the tray and the ice cube come out of the pocket and sits in another pocket. You try to shake the ice tray patiently and try so hard to shake it in one slow motion in one rhythm one direction. You do it so patiently because you know your thirst won't quench from hot water and you need ice. You cannot dump the tray on the floor and pick up the ice, let's be honest you want the best cleanest stuff for you. and you were taught this since from when you can remember stuff that u don’t pick up stuff from the floor. you try so hard to get yourself a glass of water at the perfect temperature. But in the end half of the ice melts in the tray and the water produced id just enough to quench the thirst of a 2-year-old! Blame it on the perfectly designed ice tray, which is so symmetrical and so well designed that the ice just moves from once pocket to another with little shakes that you give it, the ice cube is so made that it doesn't come out and melts away.

Most of the heart touching and inspiring stories that you come across of the very many people didn't have that ice tray. They were pieces of ices broken from a big ice slab that does not have the comfort of the ice tray and they find ways to shape themselves to fit the perfect size and they make it to the glass. But what about those tiny little ices cubes that were made in the perfect ice trays???? They are not meant to be taken out on the floor. Every little thing they try they have to do it in limited tray space they have. It's their universe. Are they to be blamed? They were created for one purpose. And most of them are perfectly happy to do what they are 'meant' to do. But how do you find out what you really want to do? what is going to make you happy? What if I am not happy with the purpose I was expected to do and what if I am not able to figure out what is my life's purpose? I would like to know how have you all figured out how have you figured out what you want? How are you able to pick up the good shit from all the bull shit that is around you? Does it always have to be completely life changing decisions that make your world go upside-down? How do you truly know when you try something that this is what you want to do? How are you sure that if you put it in all those extra hours of work in it when everyone else is enjoying or taking a break that no what the result, this thing is going to make you happy?
